How difficult it is to follow You! How difficult it is to surrender myself to You! To let go completely of the human idea of security. To let go completely of the human idea of well-being.
How difficult it is to let myself fall, to allow myself to be crushed! How difficult it is to accept who You are! How difficult it is to set aside all logic to follow Your heart! How difficult it is to expect nothing!
How difficult it is to love You! Loving You is difficult because Your path is different. Your path is distinct because it calls for sacrifices so great that they defy every framework of this world.
You invite me into a transformation without end. You invite me into a transformation that, because of our humanity and our own limitations, will never be complete.
How difficult it is to touch Your feet and understand that nothing, absolutely nothing in this world, is or ever will be greater than You!
Today, I do not understand.
Today, I do not feel.
Today, I have doubts.
Yet I surrender myself completely to You, with loyalty, obedience, humility, and prudence.
All of it, absolutely all of this, in Your hands.
