Our Lord’s walk upon the water was far more than a miracle; it was a profound lesson in faith.

Jesus walked across the sea amid strong winds and turbulent waves, just as we are called to journey through the uncertainties, trials, and storms of life. He moved forward without fear because He possessed complete trust in the Father’s will. He knew that, regardless of the circumstances around Him, all would be well.

But how do we attain such faith?

As human beings, we all experience fear. We worry about our future, our health, our families, and the countless uncertainties that surround us. Yet Christ calls us to step onto the waters of our own lives with confidence, placing our trust not in ourselves, but in Him.

The challenge arises when faith gives way to fear.

Like Peter, we begin with courage. We step out of the boat. We believe. But when our eyes turn from Christ to the winds and waves around us, fear takes hold, and we begin to sink.

Even then, the Lord does not abandon us. He reaches out His hand, lifts us up, and reminds us that His presence is greater than every storm.

Yet Jesus desires more than occasional trust. He invites us to place our entire lives in His hands. He asks us to trust Him not merely in certain moments or circumstances, but completely and without reservation.

For Christ is not meant to be one part of our lives.

He is meant to be everything.

Everything.
