“Lord, I do not know how to handle this. But You do. Guide me. Sustain me. And teach me to trust fully in You.”

One of the most important lessons I have learned is how to face life’s difficult situations. Too often, we believe the solution is to think more, push harder, or try longer. We go over the same problem again and again, searching for answers and attempting to control what lies beyond our reach. I have done the same. I have tried to manage certain situations in countless different ways—searching for the right strategy, the right words, or the right moment. But today, I believe we must understand something different. The best way to face a difficult situation is to stop. Breathe. Sit in silence and pray. Not a hurried or distracted prayer, but a genuine prayer—one in which both mind and heart are fully present before God. A prayer in which we can humbly say: “Lord, I do not know how to handle this.”So often, our human nature prevents us from seeing beyond what we can feel, think, or touch. We are limited by our fears, our wounds, and our emotions. We want to solve everything through our own strength, when in reality there are countless things we cannot control and never will. There are circumstances, decisions, and hearts that belong to God alone. Therefore, instead of insisting, demanding, or trying to change others, perhaps the answer is much simpler:”Father, help me.”Help me in my pain.Help me in my suffering.Help me see what I cannot see.Help me act with wisdom.Help me accept what I cannot change. And above all, help me trust in You.Peace begins when we stop carrying burdens we were never meant to carry alone. It begins when we loosen our grip on control and place our worries into the hands of God.Today, my prayer is simple:“Lord, I do not know how to handle this. But You do. Guide me. Sustain me. And teach me to trust fully in You.”
